Our Global Marketing Director Elizabeth Cater recently travelled to Mexico City, fostering connections with educators and our partners, exploring how we can all collaborate to prepare learners to be #ReadyForTheWorld. Our thanks to all those who contributed to this wonderful experience!
Getting #readyfortheworld in Mexico City! 1. Connections: There is nothing like face-to-face time to connect with people, understand cultures and get the feel of a place. Taking time to get to know wonderful Cambridge International Education colleagues Orelly Palmas & Elizabeth Espino was fantastic. And hearing from Jacqueline Amador talk about the work at the Sociedad Mexicana de Geografia y Estadistica, including how institutions like this support the development of research skills for students was inspiring. 2. Connecting with educators to shape the future of education: Exciting conversations with school leaders, teachers and partners at the Innovations in Education event where we explored how together we can shape the future of education and prepare learners (and ourselves) to thrive in this rapidly changing world. A big thank you to Richard Gilby for organising my deep dive into Mexican history & culture & for his passionate talk about #climatechangeeducation 💚 #readyfortheworld

🎉 That's a wrap on the Cambridge International Education Principals Forum for Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Iberia and Associates Conference at the Triangle in Cambridge! This week we welcomed the incredible leaders and teachers working in our schools around Europe, and gathered all our expertise on teaching, learning and assessment, and of course Professional Develoment. Over the week... 📚 our trainers Geraint Brown and Alan Cross PhD worked with our schools and explored how to develop their leadership with Cambridge and implement the Cambridge Primary Curriculum. 💡 our trainer Roberta Greve delivered an exciting workshop on the active classroom and how to support professional development from a leadership perspective. 🌍 we gathered all our expertise in Professional Development at a stand that for the first time included Resources and Syllabus-specific training, Professional Development Qualifications, School Improvement and Curriculum Support. 👨👨👧👧 we listened and learned from our incredible Associates Nuffic, Internationella Engelska Skolan and Skals International Examinations to support the professional development of their teachers and principals even more and better in the future. 🙏🏼 I thank all the participants and colleagues who made this possible, until next time!
