I was lucky enough to attend my first Networking with Purpose event on Wednesday evening. Beautifully organised by the amazing Rachel Hales of Get Synergised, it was great to connect with businesses and other nonprofits in Cambridge These events create a relaxed space and unique opportunity for corporate and nonprofit sectors to connect. Lovely to meet Alex Elbro and Emily Jolley, and I loved hearing about Lilly Mungovan’s teenage dance classes at Cambridge Women's Resources Centre !

Our new Thrive programme has been created in association with NHS England to support the health and wellbeing of women who have had contact with the Criminal Justice System. We understand that many women involved with Criminal Justice have been impacted by trauma, poverty and domestic abuse – Thrive at CWRC finds positive pathways for women’s individual needs through trauma-informed personal and group support. 🌟 CWRC is recruiting a Community Fundraiser! 🌟 We are looking for a Community Fundraiser to join the team and drive our Christmas campaign, together with building and maintaining relationships with donors from the public, corporate, and academic sectors. This rewarding role calls for a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills, a knack for building partnerships, and a passion for supporting women in our community. Our Community Fundraiser will be responsible for seeking donations, increasing regular giving, and cultivating high-value donors to ensure the sustainability and growth of CWRC’s programmes. This is a part-time post of 18 hours a week, with core hours to be agreed to suit the successful applicant.
