Carefully check all information and use trusted sources to verify the information given. Please note: - When CAMFED recruits externally, all jobs are advertised on our website www.camfed.org. - CAMFED will never ask individuals benefiting from its programs (the women and girls we serve) for financial contributions of any kind. - CAMFED will never request job applicants to pay a processing fee for recruitment purposes.

We are a pan-African movement revolutionizing how girls’ education is delivered.
About us
CAMFED is a pan-African movement, revolutionizing how girls’ education is delivered. Through a gold-standard system of accountability to the young people and communities we serve, we have created a model that radically improves girls’ prospects of becoming independent, influential women. Our impact increases exponentially through the Association of young women educated with CAMFED’s support. Together, we multiply the number of girls in school, and accelerate their transition to secure livelihoods and leadership.

CAMFED - Campaign for Female Education reposted this
Reflecting on our International Women’s Day event at Lady Margaret Hall in Oxford last week, we’re inspired and excited for what lies ahead as we continue to grow our presence and expand our team in Oxford. The energy and potential in the region are truly limitless, and we’re committed to nurturing and building strong, lasting partnerships within this vibrant community and beyond. The event was a powerful reminder of the strength, talent, and resilience of women around the world. We’d like to extend another big thank you to the brilliant team who made all this possible: Gail Vallis for hosting, Gravita for sponsoring, CAMFED - Campaign for Female Education, ARgENTUM, our speakers Fiona Mavhinga, Katy Barrow-Grint, Joy Isaacs, Lindsay Willott, Andri Vasou and Annelise Vuidepot, PhD, everyone who joined us in celebrating as well as the MOTION3 team Chris Smith and Dom Smith for capturing the event so perfectly. Here’s to continuing our journey of collaboration, empowerment, creating new opportunities, and driving success for our team, clients, business partners, and the communities we serve. #GardnerLeader #IWD2025 #AccelerateAction #InternationalWomensDay

Going to #CIES2025 in Chicago, USA? Join CAMFED Zimbabwe’s Jeffrey Nyandoro, Senior Impact Manager, and other experts for a workshop organized by our partner 60 million girls/60 millions de filles . We’ll discuss digital offline learning for remote communities, including how our #MobileLearningLab can improve learning. 💻 The Workshop aims to provide participants with information on how offline digital learning can benefit underserved communities without access to the internet. The Mobile Learning Lab (MLL) can enable student access to interactive games, classroom materials, government tests/curricular resources, e-books, and specifically curated, local, culturally relevant, language-specific content. The MLL, which comprises a Remote Area Community Hotspot for Education and Learning (RACHEL) server, user devices, and solar panels, is currently available to over 700,000 children in more than 20 countries. 🗓️ March 26 🔗 60milliongirls.org code.ngo Change for Children CAUSE Canada

When we #AccelerateAction for women and girls, everyone benefits! 🔥🌍 As our CEO, Angeline Murimirwa, says, “A girl excluded from education becomes a woman excluded from a secure livelihood and decision-making. Gender equality in education secures every child’s right to learn, thrive and lead. We’re showing that when we co-create solutions with young women who have navigated the very challenges we work to address, partnering with communities and governments, we can transform education systems to better serve all children.” Global Partnership for Education #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2025
Only a truly equal world can unlock everyone's full potential, creating a safer, more tolerant, prosperous, and resilient society. That world begins in the classroom. Ahead of #WomensDay, get inspired by the voices of girls' education advocates like Janet Mbugua and CAMFED - Campaign for Female Education's Angeline Murimirwa, as well as GPE CEO Laura Frigenti 👏 #IWD2025 #FundEducation

Women and girls "are being stripped of their basic rights, or denied the entitlements that stem from those rights, such as access to school or to safe reproductive healthcare." ⤵️ Ahead of International Women's Day, Lucy Lake urges us to consider "what more you can do to hold open the door for the next generation of women and girls to walk through". Our sisters in the CAMFED Association — a network of educated women leaders across Africa — are paving the way! As Lucy says' "They have beaten the odds to complete their education, and are now committed to changing the odds for the younger generation." ✨ 📚
