Planes, trains and automobiles. I have now completed the trinity after working with the fabulous team at The Watercress Line to help launch the newly-restored 35005 Canadian Pacific locomotive on Wednesday this week. And what an event it was! We had glorious sunshine (can't claim credit for that!) and a host of regional, national and international media representatives there to cover the launch - which is a story of the passion, dedication and hard work of all the volunteers who restored Canadian Pacific but also of the people who built her back in the 1940s. Spend the day with our designer Nathan Crowe. Nath’s day was anything but ordinary. Armed with coffee and a playlist full of Shania Twain, he headed to Swindon to capture interviews for Lit Fibre, chatting to over 100 people about their chance to win a year of free internet. There were plenty of conversations, a well earned Costa stop, and even a chat with Percy about the latest offers. Just another day in the life, ay?🤷
