"What is a Fragrance Triangle?" 🔺 🌸 Frequently Asked Friday is here again, answering some of the most common questions we get asked. So how does a Fragrance triangle help us to understand a fragrance? and how does it work? Also known as a fragrance pyramid, this triangular diagram attempts to make sense of a fragrance. The triangle is comprised of 3 sections; top notes, middle or heart notes and bottom or base notes. This diagram helps us to visualise a perfume or fragrance by highlighting some of the different recognisable scent notes. 🍋 Top Notes: These are the scents that you smell first and make an initial impression. They are often fresh, fruity and light. Think citrus, herbs and light fruits. 🌷 Middle/Heart Notes: These heart notes will emerge after the top notes fade.
