🌴 People often take holiday to relax and step away from work, however in an ever-connected world it has become easier to check emails, send messages or make calls whilst you're out of office. Many now have the opportunity to be flexible to work wherever and whenever they want. However this flexibility has blurred the boundaries between our working and personal life, making it increasingly difficult to switch off from work outside of office hours. The 'always-on' culture of work not only affects your productivity but can also have serious implications on your mental and physical health. Need some help with tips on how to switch off? Try one of our focus talks, we recommend: - Self Care Your Way - Understanding & Managing Stress - Building & Breaking Habits - Burnout: Spotting & Reducing Risk - Managing Overthinking Ready to book? ☎️ click here to arrange a call: https://lnkd.in/efUm-q3i 📧 email c.angus@cavcare.org.uk to book 📱 message Chloe Angus 🌱 or Charley Whitehead for more information

Yesterday we had another (very smiley) meeting of our advisory board 😊 Our focus yesterday was how we can best support both the individuals and leaders with their health and wellbeing challenges. We discussed what the main challenges are locally, how we can make connecting and working with us easier, and the ways our values align with organisations. We have lots of exciting things coming up including more open sessions, new services (no wellbeing topic is off the table for us!) and more easily accessible support. If you're not following us yet make sure to give us a follow, and connect with Chloe Angus 🌱 and Charley Whitehead. Big thanks to Clear Risk Management for hosting us this month And as ever a thank you to our advisory group members Emma Conroy, Alex Hill, Tristan Cowell and Rachel Storey DipCII #cavendishwellbeing #healthyworkplaces #collaboration #sheffieldissuper #southyorkshirebusinesses #wellbeingatwork
