AI services like ChatGPT, Google Assistant, Alexa, and Siri are leading the market, with strong recognition across the US and Europe. It’s remarkable how quickly ChatGPT has gained traction, especially considering its short time in the spotlight. But what are the consumers' perspectives on AI? 🤖 In the UK, Germany, and Spain, people value AI for functional tasks like document summarisation and smart voice assistance, while creative applications like image and video generation are less prioritised. 🤖 Privacy and data security remain top concerns, especially in Spain (51%) and the US (47%). 🤖 Trust in AI is highest for established tech giants like Amazon, Google, and Microsoft, while companies like Meta face more scepticism. AI adoption is growing, but ethical concerns and trust in service providers are shaping its future. Gain more insight by reading our full report: https://lnkd.in/exRGJ9jS

The promise of 5G was always more than just mobile broadband. Now, we’re starting to see 5G power other sectors of the economy too. For example, the first smart factories using both 5G and AI are arriving. ZTE Corporation is using its own 5G technologies to make its factories smart. Its servers and storage products are manufactured in Nanjing Binjiang where 5G-connected machine vision is now used for quality inspection, ZTE reports this reduces the miss rate by 50%. The use of the combination of AI computing, robotics, and machine vision results in a claimed 20% improvement in assembly quality. AI tools enable more tests to be conducted as well as improving the quality of testing. To measure the energy efficiency of its products, ZTE uses AI and 5G to run over 100 low-power tests across nearly 1000 cycles. ZTE points to other benefits from increased automation with the company saying its packaging efficiency is boosted by 40%. #5G #SmartFactories #AI #Automation #MachineVision
