We're looking forward to when their new music album drops... 🤭 If they were a band, would their name be? 🤔 #CedarwoodTrust #EarlyYears

Another great Ukrainian-speaking Group, this week. 🇺🇦 It's a great opportunity for local residents and Ukrainian residents to get to know more about each other's culture, values and traditions. 💙💛 Look out for our next date, and come along. #CedarwoodTrust #Ukraine #SpeakingClub

Great to see the centre so busy today! We had Healthwatch and Action on Climate Change at Cedarwood, helping the community with advice and info on health and how they can tackle climate change. Provided by North Tyneside Council. #CedarwoodTrust #Healthwatch #NorthTynesideCouncil

We were thrilled to welcome Jane Greenshields and Ross Wilson from Community Foundation serving Tyne & Wear and Northumberland to Cedarwood yesterday. Jane is generously funding our Ukrainian projects for 12 months from a Fund set up by a legacy gift to the Community Foundation from her father, Guy Readman, enabling a variety of wonderful initiatives like Ukrainian art, cookery, and language groups. These activities, led by Alona Mochulska, Cedarwood's Ukrainian Community Connector, have been invaluable for integrating Ukrainian residents with the local community, sharing stories, and learning English, as well as introducing local residents to new customs and traditions. We were also joined by Solomon Lennox from Northumbria University, who will be exhibiting the fantastic art and crafts created by our Ukrainian residents later this year. A huge thank you to the Community Foundation for their continued support. It’s making a world of difference! #CedarwoodTrust #CommunityFoundation #UkrainianCommunity
