Last week, our Merton Health Visiting Team joined key partners to host the first antenatal drop-in event at Acacia Children’s Centre, a valuable space for expectant and new parents to connect with local services and access essential support. It brought together services including midwifery teams from St George's, Epsom and St Helier Hospitals Group, infant feeding specialists, perinatal mental health professionals, Merton Talking Therapies, and the Family Information and Support Hub (FISH) run by Merton Council. Our Infant Feeding Lead, Iman Hikal, offered invaluable support to mothers, addressing their queries and provided expert guidance on breastfeeding.
