It was a thought provoking and dynamic conversation with my new colleagues Marie-Marie-Christine Maheas, Dr Matt Jacobs, PhD, FRSA, and Craig Wilkinson as we engaged in a panel discussion on positive masculinity. Ted Bunch did a great job facilitating the dialogue. The Women's Forum for the Economy & Society put together a fantastic class of speakers, and I leave Paris having met colleagues with whom I will remain in touch thanks to this wonderful conference. Thank you to our Europe Regional Director Natalie Creary for representing the Centre for Public Impact for with me. As a cool aside, I’m grateful to the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) DEI team for inviting me to learn how to make macaroons with them! Truly enjoyed spending time with Su Yee Lee, Fabian Schnell Kushal Khandhar, CFA (कुशल खन्धार), Gretchen May and a few others whom I can’t yet tag! I must admit that I was a bit terrified at the idea of baking because I’m so bad at cooking, and failing at it miserably with colleagues isn’t my ideal scenario for meeting folks for the first time. But isn’t that what vulnerability is all about? Trying new things, experimenting, and pushing yourself outside your comfort zone? Thanks to my new colleagues at BCG for being such great cheerleaders. The collaboration and encouragement made me feel like I was in the Great British Baking Show.
