I’m so proud to share that on Saturday I completed the 57-mile ultramarathon from Glasgow to Edinburgh! Nearly 15 hours and 125k steps of such brutal but rewarding work 🏃🏼♀️ It taught me so much about discipline, focus, and strengthening my mental fortitude. This wasn’t just about pushing my limits - it was about raising awareness and funds for an incredible cause: the Centre for Women's Justice (CWJ) - raising a further total of £871. CWJ is a UK-based charity that fights tirelessly for women and girls who’ve experienced violence, holding the justice system accountable when it falls short. Through legal action, support, and advocacy, they’re helping to bring about real change. Running this ultramarathon was my way of standing up for the women whose stories don’t always get heard, and for those we see far too often in the headlines. I’m doing this for the women I know, the women I don’t, and for a future where justice for violence against women isn’t a fight but a given. A huge thank you to my family, friends, and volunteers at the event for their incredible support through this - and for everyone who has already donated! 🙏🏼🩷

  • We’re representing eight women who were abused by former Metropolitan Police officer, David Carrick. They are seeking justice through a civil claim against the Met Police, but we need your help. While we provide legal advice and representation for free, we urgently need funds to cover expert psychological reports and a translator. We have 16 days to raise £20,000. Your donation, no matter the size, will help these women find answers and push for better police accountability, policies and vetting. Will you help? Please donate and/or share this post. https://lnkd.in/eKy7Bzrv CrowdJustice
