Yesterday's game against Wrexham AFC at The Valley was something special. It was incredible to see the stadium filled with our biggest crowd in years, and the atmosphere was electric from start to finish. A huge shoutout to our marketing team and Russell James for all their hard work behind the scenes on ticket sales—it truly made a difference. And to Lucy McNicholas, thanks for keeping everything running smoothly as always. Gather & Gather did a fantastic job with the catering—lots of positive feedback from fans about the food! Our operations team Jon Blythe & Kishan Parmar deserve a lot of credit too. They made sure everything ran like clockwork, from our red, white, and black-themed day with the University of Greenwich to hosting Mark Goldbridge and his team for their first-ever live watchalong on the "That's Football" channel. The Q&A in the 1905 with Robert Lee and some top questions from the legend Steve Sutherland was another highlight. And of course, a special thanks to James Billingham & Billingham Communications for sponsoring the match and to Steve Perry & Blaser Mills Law for the match ball sponsorship—your support means a lot. On the pitch, the game ended 2-2, with Matty Godden smashing home a last-minute penalty to secure a point. It felt like a fair result in the end. And I’ve got to mention the half-time crossbar challenge winner—apart from that penalty, it might’ve gotten the biggest cheer of the day! After a packed October, we’ve got a little time to recharge before our next league game against Peterborough United Football Club. But we’re not done yet—still have a couple of fixtures against Chelsea Football Club and local counterparts, Bromley Football Club, to look forward to. Thanks to everyone—our fans, partners, and the whole team—for making yesterday a day to remember. Onwards and upwards! #CAFC #Matchday #Wrexham #CharltonAthletic Kieran Herring Callum King Tony Davison Tony Crosbie Tom Rubashow James Bell Damien G.

All different. All together. All Charlton. We're looking forward to celebrating our annual Red, White and Black Day on Saturday. Red, White and Black Day is an anti-racism initiative that has been part of the Charlton fabric for more than 30 years and is passionately supported by the club’s fanbase. This year’s parade, in partnership with Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) and University of Greenwich, will see a record number of students take part and will promote the club’s All Different, All Together, All Charlton messaging, signifying that everyone is welcome at The Valley. The parade will begin at Charlton Station, ending at The Valley. It will be led by the club’s equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) lead on the Charlton Board Paul Elliott CBE MBE and will also include club legends Carl Leaburn and Paul Mortimer.

All of us connected to Charlton Athletic FC were extremely proud when the club won the prestigious ‘Community Club of the Year’ Award at the EFL Awards held in April. The continuing excellence of the Charlton Athletic Community Trust coupled with the outstanding work of our acclaimed academy and the success of our women’s football department, undoubtedly contributed to this achievement. So building on the success of our Community Trust, Academy and Women’s team; in May we launched at the House of Commons, an exciting new venture called, ‘The Valley of Dreams’. The ‘Valley of Dreams’ is a scheme which provides unparalleled opportunities for businesses to engage in award-winning community activities, take advantage of market-leading Equality, Diversity and Inclusion programmes, gain exceptional exposure, enjoy effective networking opportunities and hugely importantly, boost their Environmental, Social and Governance ratings. ‘Valley of Dreams’ members enjoy a range of benefits including invitations to exclusive members’ events, the latest being a ‘behind the scenes’ experience at our Training Ground at New Eltham, SE9 on Wednesday 6th November called ‘Nurturing talent, young people and our community’. We are offering a limited number of places at this event to those businesses interested in finding out more about ‘Valley of Dreams’ and how their organisations can benefit from becoming a member. The club have today passed 20,000 tickets for Saturday’s game against Wrexham at The Valley. The final gate is set to be the highest paid attendance at The Valley since Charlton’s iconic play-off semi-final win over Doncaster Rovers in May 2019. Supporters looking to purchase tickets for this weekend's fixture in the Covered End Upper and West Lower are advised to do so as soon as possible with tickets close to selling out in those areas.
