But while certain brands have experienced a slowdown, the broader narrative tells us a lot about shifting consumer expectations... That was the challenge we embraced with our latest project for Joseph Cheaney & Sons flagship boutique on New Bond Street. In this eponymous location, we created an elevated interpretation of their signature retail identity. An intimate brand space, it delivers big on impact, using light and mirrors to create a sense of drama and depth. The result? Is this a new chapter for luxury watches?! 👀 In the watch industry, supply rarely outstrips demand – with most LE models sold out within minutes of launch or consumers having to jump through hoops to even get on a waiting list. But times are changing. Younger generations, the growth drivers in this category, have become accustomed to instant gratification and are less appreciative of elitist tactics. As such watch brands are reverse engineering their retail experiences to offer more walk-in purchases shunning the ad-old, made-to-order showroom service. “The highest end of the consumer spectrum is resilient, with a growing interest in more precious and LE models.” Vogue Business Across the board luxury retail is working hard to find that sweet spot between desirability and inclusivity. Introducing adidas Originals DTLA, the newest home for LA’s creative community 👀 What was once a check-cashing business in the '80s has now transformed into an immersive retail space. A stunning architectural revival, integrating the raw and historical foundations of the space - contrasted with an impactful use of the brand’s ionic blue and distinct brand design. A one-off design by Skateboarding legend, Mark Gonzales is also a prominent feature of the space.
