👷🏻 Here’s some examples of our external Jesmonite stone mouldings - we specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of external architectural mouldings as well as internal fibrous plaster. Jesmonite can replicate natural stone as well as being the perfect material to use where heavy natural / cast stone is not ideal, we can create in a variety of stone colours as well as bespoke colours that can be matched to existing stonework. We can also manufacture in a smooth finish ready for painting or with texture too. We’ve developed our own fixing methods that ensure safety without compromising on quality 🌟

Amazing design work from Adam Coare 👏🏼 not only does Adam produce our CAD drawings, he can also create 3D models and concept renders. With an engineering background too he can often spot errors or conflicts in drawings we receive which we’re then able to rectify and eliminate at the design stage rather than during manufacture or installation. 📸 The images below show some of the decorative and ornate ceiling embellishments we had drawn, modelled, 3D printed, moulded and cast in fibrous plaster ready for installation at our Jersey project

🌟 2024 was our busiest year ever 🎉 Chelmer Mouldings - Suppliers & Installers of Fibrous Plaster, Jesmonite and GRP worked for quite a few new clients for internal and external projects. We have also continued to maintain relationships with existing clients who now use us for the majority of their moulding requirements. We had our 3 largest projects in our 19 years of trading all starting simultaneously 😮💨 Our design services and capabilities have expanded massively and we have formed new partnerships with suppliers & clients alike. 👀 From drawings to site 📸 Scroll through the images to see some of the processes of how we get from design drawings to installation on site. For this bespoke external Jesmonite project we were contracted to manufacture and install a Jesmonite stone soffit and brackets. We manufactured these mouldings in a bespoke RAL colour after providing samples. Our in house head of design Adam Coare worked with the client team to finalise the designs ensuring that the brackets were spaced out correctly in order to cover joins. We provide a full design - manufacture - installation service at Chelmer Mouldings - Suppliers & Installers of Fibrous Plaster, Jesmonite and GRP for all of the materials we produce. We work closely with architects and other contractors to ensure that any clashes can be resolved at design stage rather than when we arrive on site. 🇯🇪 Our team are making great progress at our Jersey project on our 3rd visit to site - the journey there didn’t go smoothly with 3 cancelled flights and ended up in an 8 hour ferry trip 🫣 but they finally made it and are now trying to catch up on the lost hours so we are still on track. This project includes so many different ornate fibrous plaster cornices, ceiling roses, panels and bespoke mouldings and involved ALOT of design work and coordination with the architects, designers and contractors. 👷🏻♂️Great progress on our Wimbledon site - Bespoke Jesmonite soffits & brackets which were manufactured in a specific RAL colour. We were asked to minimise the visible joints where possible so we designed the mouldings and spacing so the brackets could cover them 🏗️ #chelmermouldings #jesmonite #architecturalmouldings #construction #bespoke

Proud to be part of The Alpine Group - Feature Staircases supply chain delivering this outstanding staircase. Our partnership with Alpine has strengthened over the last couple of years since we’ve successfully manufactured and installed the GRG soffits (as well as the handrails and balustrades on some projects) alongside a great team. Our in house design team has proven to be invaluable in the execution of delivering this project and we’ve got a few more to come over the next few months 👀

🇯🇪 Last week we started on site at our Jersey project. There has been ALOT of design work involved in getting this right, a lot of profile size changes due to joinery, layout changes due to electrics etc but thankfully our head of design Adam Coare worked his magic and made sure we had any issues ironed out before getting to site meaning the installers were able to make fantastic progress over the last 6 days!
