A most enjoyable evening on Thursday 17 October at The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment Barracks, celebrating the career of Middlesex Captain and England Test player, Toby Roland-Jones. Child & Child, Susie Barter, Yasaman Asa'd Bakhtiari, yours truly, and Zach (see below) hosted a table with guests from our near neighbours CT Group and individual guests, Phil Smith and Edward Thomson. A successful evening for the table's bidding team in the auction, with Tim getting close to one lot and Zach Reynolds forging through to bat off all rivals for one of the more alcoholic lots on offer. Note to self... Zach needs 19 people to join him in a mega sesh sometime soon. Be there or be sober. Thanks to Phil for kindly setting up the evening for me with pre-event drinks so we could discuss the FA's TT decision in relative quiet. Needless to say, we agreed to disagree.
