A heartfelt thank you to Richard Moore, founder of Children in Crossfire, for joining us at our Waltham Operations Center for an inspiring Fireside Chat yesterday evening! We were honored to hear your story and learn more about the incredible work you’re doing to support children impacted by poverty, injustice, and inequality worldwide. 🌍 This event, held in celebration of National Blind Awareness Month, reminded us of the power of resilience, empathy, and the impact we can all make. Thank you for inspiring our team!

Thank you to Hunter Apparel Solutions for welcoming Aishling and Ronan and allowing them to present to your team! We are so grateful for the ongoing support you have shown us over the years and can't wait to hopefully get your team further involved in the future.
We were honored to host Children in Crossfire at our end-of-month staff lunch at Hunter Apparel Solutions. Ronan McCay and Aishling Cunningham delivered an impactful presentation, sharing the inspiring story of Richard Moore, the charity’s founder, and the vital work they do. Their presentation was a powerful reminder of the privileges we often take for granted, such as free education and healthcare for our children. It sparked meaningful discussions among our team about how we can contribute and support their mission. We are excited about the various fundraising opportunities ahead, particularly the Santa appeal, which resonated with many of us. A heartfelt thank you to Ronan and Aishling for their time and dedication. We look forward to being more involved and supporting Children in Crossfire in the future. How amazing! 👏👏👏 Thank you to Derry City Football Club for your donation and to Apex Housing Association for your continued support.
On our recent trip to Tanzania with Children in Crossfire, we were thrilled to bring over 80 football jerseys, kindly donated by Derry City Football Club. ⚽️ Apex staff distributed the jerseys to adults and children in all the areas we visited. As you can see, the children were delighted to receive the jerseys and join the red and white army! #RAWA28 Apex's partnership with Children in Crossfire has seen Apex staff fundraise for numerous projects in Tanzania including the building of a dam, well, medical centre and our most recent project, 16 pre-primary school classrooms.🛖📚 Thank you Derry City Football Club for your donation! 👏

Over the past week, I have have been walking the last 100km of the Camino de Santiago, taking in the Portuguese coastal route, from Vigo to Santiago de Compostela. This is my second time on the Camino, and it never gets old. Once you do it, it has a way of calling you back. It has been a time of self reflection, looking how far I have come over the past few years, and how many opportunities are on tomorrows path. There is something about the Camino, that clears the head and cleanses the soul. Like hitting a reset button. Meeting people from all over the world, walking solo, in groups for religious reasons or for Charity. Taking part in this Camino for Children in Crossfire, has been incredible. Finding out about the amazing work Carried out by the charity, providing health care and educational support in Ethiopia and Tanzania. Having the opportunity to walking with the charity founder Richard Moore, has been a privilege. His story is unique and his kindness and humanity are limitless. The support from the team has been incredible and everything had been so well organised. The people I have walked this journey with, and the stories they have shared, have been a pleasure and a privilege. I’ve left the Camino with great friends. Final thanks goes to those who got me here. My colleagues in Eurospar Cullybackey and Henderson Group . Their support with helping me with my fundraising has been greatly appreciated. Raising a total of £1700 for children in crossfire. Buen Camino ➡️

My dad the legend Jack Murphy at the young age of 81, yesterday completed a leg of the Camino! I joined him with the purpose of keeping him company while he walked over 100km as a fundraiser for Children in Crossfire A charity very close to our hearts. As we traveled the challenging scenic paths together was in awe of his resilience, determination, and unwavering spirit. Even at his age, he embraced every challenge with a smile, reminding me that age is just a number, and that the true measure of strength lies in our mindset and attitudes. Seeing him tackle each step with enthusiasm and passion reminded me of the values that we strive for in our business. I am grateful for the lessons learned, the laughs shared, and the quality time spent together all while raising much needed funds for an amazing charity. https://lnkd.in/e5hrUJUR #Inspiration #Camino #Resilience #Family #Leadership

It was great for Children in Crossfire’s Global Citizenship Education (GCE) team to have the chance to lead a workshop with all the staff at St. Joseph’s Primary and Nursery School, Crumlin. We explored how our Educating the Heart GCE training and support can help build on so much that is already going on across the school. There was a lot of good learning about how compassion and skills for critical thinking can be embedded in schools through a Whole School Approach. Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome and engagement. #GlobalCitizenshipEducation #EducatingTheHeart
