Chopstix is delighted to share some fantastic news. Today, we have announced a strategic investment partnership with one of Europe’s leading #QSR and foodservice operators, #QSRP. QSRP is an absolute expert in the quick-service space, operating more than 1,200 locations across multiple European countries. QSRP is investing in @Chopstix, taking a majority share in the business, to enable us to accelerate our growth, and achieve our long-term ambitions for the brand. This is a huge moment for the business, which began its journey more than 20 years ago, with our founders Sam Elia and Menashe Sadik opening a single site in London. Thanks to the passion and tireless effort of our people, Chopstix is now a nationally recognised QSR brand, operating at over 150 locations across the UK and Ireland, renowned for delicious, bold Chinese flavours. When Chopstix was founded in 2002 it was as a family business; the company has always operated with this ethos as a guiding principle, and this will not change. We are delighted to have found partners who share our passion and beliefs, and we know that this is only the beginning for Chopstix. The team at QSRP will work with founders Sam Elia and Menashe Sadik, and the rest of our brilliant senior management team, led by Jon Lake, who will continue to lead the business. Working with QSRP launches us into the next phase of our growth, allowing the Chopstix brand to scale further and faster. This partnership will establish Chopstix as a genuinely international brand with a presence in multiple countries, following our recent debut at Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport in Romania. We believe QSRP is the perfect partner to help us on this journey. QSRP is a titan in the #QSR space and has achieved incredible growth since its founding 10 years ago due to its industry leading use of tech, operational #excellence and unmatched regional knowledge in the markets it operates in. As a highly established QSR and fast-food operator in key European markets, this new partnership will enable Chopstix to launch and grow in a number of new countries. Passing through Luton airport today, and I'm really impressed with this unit. Early morning until 11 it's a fresh breakfast bar, then the digital signage switches to a Chopstix Group outlet. Maximising revenue from the same shop space is so forward thinking, why don't we see this pivot on the High Street? Simple but brilliant. ....and always busy!!
