Membership Recognition #MondayMotivation Meet Kelly Davis, who is celebrating her 10th anniversary as a Chartered Member here at CILT(UK)! Another amazing membership milestone we had to share! Kelly’s experience in the transport industry includes both public and private sector roles. As a Graduate, she worked on bus priority and cycle schemes. As part of a move to get more Site experience, her role morphed into supporting on London Underground Station Upgrade projects where she worked on Temporary Traffic Management designs for the diversion of utilities infrastructure to make way for station improvements. Her Streetworks experience was bolstered with a stint at Westminster City Council, coordinating Streetworks and engaging with various stakeholders. This was followed by a change in direction and the start of Kelly’s career in Transport Planning. Following a period working on behalf of National Highways in a development management role, Kelly moved across to development planning to pursue her interest in influencing the design of site masterplans through developing effective transport and movement strategies. The government promises £2.3bn investment, but is it enough to make you confident about switching to electric? An interesting debate! Take our poll: https://lnkd.in/erMYFUbM Read the article: https://lnkd.in/eSD65A3r #EVCharging #CleanEnergy #UKInfrastructure

UK public electric vehicle chargepoints reach 75,000, marking 25% of the government's 2030 target. Transport Secretary Hedi Alexander said: “there’s never been a better time to make the switch to an EV.” Despite rapid network expansion, MPs on The Public Accounts Committee express concerns about the chargepoints uneven distribution with 43% concentrated in London and the South-East. An interesting debate, let us know your thoughts!
