Another contract win! 🎉 Cleanova filtration systems have been chosen for a clean energy project that will include the world's largest carbon capture and storage complex to date. Our three-stage filter modules will clean the intake air of the Air Separation Unit at the multi-billion dollar blue hydrogen manufacturing facility in Louisiana, US. Around 95% of the facility's carbon dioxide emissions will be captured and permanently sequestered. Cleanova is partnering with Canada-based fluid handling technology distributor John Brooks Company Limited (JBC) to provide their team with specialist training on next-generation Dollinger air intake filtration systems. Why is my #amine turning green? #Cleanova has the answer! We analysed the total suspended solids in amine samples from a range of contactor installations, which revealed that iron sulphide is often the primary #contaminant in the rich side of the process. The reaction between iron in the carbon steel materials and hydrogen sulphide produces a range of particulates greater than 20µ in size, giving an unmistakable green tint to poorly filtered rich amine. This is the primary cause of heat exchanger fouling on many amine systems. The good news? Cleanova can provide you with a #filtrationsystem to remove the contamination and restore amine #quality.
