CLEAPSS - Teachers H&S Self Study Online Course We have developed a new self-study course for secondary science teachers, which covers the basics of health & safety and how to manage practical work and risk assessments in lessons. This is a FREE course, all you need to do is complete the registration form. The course is made up of a series of videos and some tasks. There is an option to download / print off the PowerPoint slides used in the videos to enable users to made notes during the course. https://lnkd.in/ettYTT_M
About us
CLEAPSS is an advisory service providing support in science and technology for a consortium of local authorities and their schools including establishments for pupils with special needs. Independent schools, post-16 colleges, teacher training establishments, curriculum developers and others can apply for associate membership. We offer help from nursery education through to A-level studies or equivalent. CLEAPSS first started in 1963 as CLEAPSE (Consortium of Local Education Authorities for the Provision of Science Equipment). In 1988 the name was changed to CLEAPSS (Consortium of Local Education Authorities for the Provision of Science Services) to reflect a change of emphasis from equipment to a range of services. Since then, Local Education Authorities became Local Authorities and our services expanded to include D&T, so CLEAPSS was registered as a Trade Mark. CLEAPSS is now simply a name and not an acronym.
