Digital media for conference organisers. Agile execution, speedy delivery. I spent eight years in Sales and four in Marketing at one of the world’s leading commercial conference organisers. I take pictures of happy delegates, packed rooms, exciting speakers, prominent branding, piles of business cards. I don’t take pictures of empty stands, lone delegates, empty seats or people eating. I make images that sell your event to key prospects, whether delegate or sponsor. I know that the person who approved the budget of the person who booked the stand wants to see their staff talking to prospects, not each other.

Am I alone in thinking events should look exciting and kinetic and not like ethereal dream-like experiences? Don't get me wrong, 18 months ago I was all about 100% slo-mo and permanent gimbal but I just don't think it looks exciting. I guess if what you want to sell is an out-of-body experience rather than an out-of-office experience there's a place for it. Nicholas Rust you were dead right about this and I was dead wrong. Tomorrows event I'm going to shoot entirely hand held and entirely at 25fps. #nomoreslomo
