About us
Connect Yorkshire is a not-for-profit organisation that has a track record spanning over twenty years helping Yorkshire businesses grow. We are a unique and exclusive business growth platform specifically formed to help Yorkshire businesses and entrepreneurs grow by learning from the county's most successful entrepreneurs. Our highly experienced entrepreneurs, our Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs), have all founded and built, and many are continuing to build highly successful businesses. We believe that the best mentors for growing businesses are those that have been there and got the t-shirt, have experienced the challenges that you are facing and can offer valuable advice based on their own experiences of growing a business. All of our EIRs give their time and considerable expertise to support growing businesses and nurture emerging talent to help companies prosper, creating wealth, jobs, and opportunities across the Yorkshire region. We have built a supportive community of over 350 like-minded business owners who share challenges, opportunities, and best practices. This is an invaluable environment for like-minded individuals to discuss and resolve issues and help develop their propositions for greater success. We host monthly masterclasses, seminars, workshops, peer advisory boards and networking events on various topics relevant to business growth and development. Whether you are looking to establish or grow a winning sales team, expand into new markets, attract and retain talent or transform your business through innovation, our events will provide you with the knowledge you need to take your business to the next level. Connect Yorkshire is an inside track for successful business growth. By joining Connect Yorkshire you become part of a unique members-only business growth platform created by Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurs. We give real advantages to help your business achieve rapid growth and greater success.

Connect Yorkshire reposted this
We’re delighted to announce we’ve been shortlisted for the Community Impact Award at this year’s Connect Yorkshire Awards, and our CEO, Emily Wragg, has also been recognised in the Inspirational Leader category! 🤩 Emily says, “I am so proud of the amazing team we have at Candlelighters and the work they do every day to support families experiencing what is often the most challenging period of their lives. For this to be acknowledged in the wider community is wonderful. We hope it helps raise awareness of the impact of childhood cancer and encourages even more of the wonderful Yorkshire community to help us provide support to those children and their families. As experts in supporting children with cancer and their families, we are constantly aware of the devastating impact a childhood diagnosis of the disease can have. It’s vital to us to provide the comprehensive support that families living with a childhood diagnosis of cancer need and eventually improve the outcomes and lives of children with cancer by also investing in vital research. We’re grateful to Connect Yorkshire for recognising the wide-ranging impact of our work.” The winners of this year’s Connect Yorkshire Awards will be announced at a prestigious black-tie dinner at the Royal Armouries in Leeds on 28th November. Keep your fingers crossed for us! 💕
