Electric vehicles just got a whole lot more accessible! Our Electric Streets partner Vauxhall Motors Ltd have announced that their new Frontera electric and petrol models will be available from the exact same price. This groundbreaking move marks a significant step towards the transition to electric. With falling prices of EVs and the growing second-hand market, it's becoming easier than ever to transition to an electric vehicle. And where do we charge all these EVs, you might ask? The expanding network of EV charging infrastructure is making it more convenient to own and operate an electric car. Companies like Connected Kerb (that’s us) are playing a crucial role in building this essential infrastructure, ensuring that the growing number of EV drivers have easy access to charging points wherever they go. Big news! Our partner, ECO POWER ENERGY, just finished installing the first AC/DC chargers at the Woolgate site for West Oxfordshire Council. This project involved setting up two 75kW rapid chargers and four dual 7kW chargers. It's a huge leap forward for electric vehicle infrastructure in the region. This isn't just about sustainability (though it's a big win for that, too!). It's also about making electric vehicle charging easier and more accessible for everyone in the community. We're super proud to be part of this and can't wait to see where our partnership with Eco Power Energy takes us next. #ConnectedForGood
