We are delighted to welcome Justin McCarthy to the Co-op Homes board. Justin McCarthy is the Executive Director of Property at Paradigm Housing. He oversees Strategic Asset Management, Repairs, Estates, Investment and Fleet for over 17000 homes. He joined the board in Sept 2024 to increase scrutiny and understanding of Co-Op Homes Asset Management and Compliance delivery. He has over 25 years’ experience in local authority, ALMO and Housing Association settings and a previous NED role. Justin has played a key role in a number of large scale stock swaps and acquisitions, IT transformations and complex projects.  Justin has a keen interest in decarbonisation and green initiatives, and delivering empowering and sustainable customer services.  We look forward to working with you Justin!

We are delighted to welcome Maame-Yaa Bempah to the Co-op Homes board. Maame-Yaa Bempah FCA CTA is the Finance Director at Ballymore Asset Management. She oversees Governance, Property Accounting, Treasury, Credit Control, Accounts Payable, Payroll and IT. She joined the board in 2024 as RHP's nominee. As a dual-qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor, Maame-Yaa has over 20 years’ experience which includes mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, financial reporting, cashflow forecasting, ESG and sustainability, and external reporting predominantly in property and construction. Maame-Yaa has a keen interest in equality, diversity and inclusion, and has mentored numerous individuals with a BAME background in her spare time. We look forward to working with you Maame-Yaa!

🎁 Every year at Co-op Homes, we wholeheartedly embrace the festive season with a spirit of spreading goodwill. One of the heart-warming ways we strive to do this is by arranging and personally delivering Christmas Hampers to the cherished tenants of Co-op Homes who are over the age of 75. This beautiful initiative is led by the dedicated employee, Kathy McNulty, from Co-op Homes. Over the past few weeks, our team has put their hearts into the joyful task of shopping, sorting, and thoughtfully storing the hampers in anticipation of this meaningful occasion. Our compassionate employees have willingly volunteered their own time to deliver these delightful surprise gifts. Although they may not be riding a sleigh or accompanied by reindeer, they will be travelling from Reading to all around London wearing smiles and carrying the precious hampers. We hope that these thoughtful gestures will bring an abundance of festive joy to this remarkable group of residents.
