Specifically sight, hearing, and touch. ⌨ Operable — are your interfaces, forms, controls, and navigation functional regardless of how someone accesses your website? 🧠 Understandable — can someone visiting your website actually understand the content and how to use it? 💪 Robust — can a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies, interpret your website reliably? We're chuffed to bits to announce Corporation Pop's newest team member. Isabelle Bolt has joined us as a Software Engineer and we can already tell she's going to fit right in! As part of the team she'll be attending to all things software and problem solving, contributing towards cross-platform applications and experiences and collaborating with Pop's talented developers, UX and design team. She'll be using software frameworks and programming to build across all levels of the development lifecycle to make user interfaces and connected applications. With her knowledge of different AR platforms, Izzy will contribute towards creating experiences which bridge between the real and digital. And, of course, she’ll learn, bring creativity, and have fun with it along the way. Welcome aboard Izzy!

In an increasingly isolating world, can technology allow us to better connect in the same physical space? Social Pop AR is a project exploring ways web-based augmented reality can bring people together. Financially supported by MediaCity Immersive Technologies Innovation Hub our proof-of-concept platform, integrates AR with a 3D Web Engine, allowing people to share the same AR content simultaneously from their own device. Ours is one of several ground-breaking projects which aim to boost innovation across Greater Manchester. Led by Greater Manchester Business Board (LEP), and Innovate UK's Innovation Accelerator Programme on behalf of UK Research and Innovation, the fund is from a partnership with Salford City Council The University of Salford and MediaCityUK. https://lnkd.in/d8gjyWTx
