Coversure is delighted to announce that the #CoversureExpo 2024 keynote speaker will be John Barnes. John played for many clubs during his career but is most famous for winning two FA cups and two League Championships with Liverpool. He scored a wonder goal against Brazil for England and appeared 78 times for the national team. He is now a TV pundit and serves as an ambassador for Save the Children. The Coversure network is constantly driving forward so it’s appropriate to have someone that has adopted the same approach in sport at the highest level, on an international scale. Those in attendance will hear inspirational stories from overcoming challenges to achieving significant sporting success and his motivation behind that. The UK Broker Awards were held in #Birmingham last night and a Coversure franchisee secured an award for ‘Broker Start Up of the Year 2024’. Huge congratulations to Dan Hurley who runs the Coversure #Ringwood office for getting this national recognition in an extremely competitive category. Coversure #Bromsgrove held a charity quiz event this week that supported Help Harry Help Others. The charity offers cancer patients and their families and friends any support that's needed outside of treatment - all from under one roof. Coversure team members, local businesses, and suppliers all attended the event with over 1,000 raffle tickets sold helping to raise £796. Numerous businesses and individuals contributed prizes for the raffle. Too many to mention them all but included: Lawrence Bennett Cert CII, William Wong, Gallagher, Rachel Collier Cert CII, Darren Shipman • Brand Photography, Mitchell Dornan, SJL Insurance Services, The Glee Club and many more. Thanks to you all. Huge Congratulations to the Coversure Bromsgrove Charity Committee. They originally had a £850 fundraising target but with the quiz contributions has exceeded this and raised over £4000 as a result of 12 months hard work. Well done to everyone involved.
