What do France’s economy and the insurance protection gap have in common? Both are valued at an astonishing three trillion dollars. But how do we close protection gaps? Paolo Mantero, our Group Chief Strategy Officer, held a keynote at the Insurtech Insights Conference in London, where he highlighted the crucial role of technology in bridging those protection gaps. It’s been five years since we started supporting Instituto Terra to help restore a part of the Atlantic Forest. And we have decided to expand our engagement! With our assistance, Instituto Terra has been able to acquire additional land and essential infrastructure. That includes the establishment of a new nursery with the capacity to produce at least 1 million seedlings a year.
