The world's first cloud-based EPoS, and still the best...

About us

Award-winning end-to-end retail system. In 2001, when online retailing was only burgeoning, and various retail sales channels were very much siloed, Ian Tomlinson founded Cybertill. One of the world’s first cloud-based retail management platforms, Cybertill enables a real-time single view of inventory, sales and customers to retailers across all touchpoints including integrated systems, branded and pop up retail shops, mobile point of sale, click and collect points, franchise stores, concessions, and ecommerce. Retailers need one version of the truth in terms of inventory levels and customer details. Software hosted in the cloud enables this. With Cybertill’s platforms hosted in the cloud, there is a single product database and customer database. So, all channels link to the same file so a business can see stock levels across its organisation in real time, so it can get the right products to the right location at the right time thus optimising sales. Also, all elements of a business share the same customer data, so consumers get a better continuity of service. Retailers large and small can benefit from the Cybertill platforms. Cybertill’s RetailStore and CharityStore platforms serve over 700 general retail, wine and liquor stores, charity, and visitor attractions globally and help process over 64 million transactions a year.

We were honoured to attend the Barnsley Hospice 30th Anniversary Ball on Saturday! It was an inspiring evening, and we're so grateful to have been part of the celebration. Huge thanks to the hospice for the incredible care they provide and to everyone who made the event possible, from the patrons and hosts to the entertainment and generous donors. Pictured is our own Mary Blohm, who won her very own Dickie Bird OBE picture in the charity auction. The sense of community and support was truly heart warming, and we’re proud to support such a vital cause. 🧡 Kelly Jones Mary Blohm Jenny Murphy Ian Tomlinson

✨ We are still beaming from a wonderful night on Saturday as supporters came together to celebrate at the Barnsley Hospice 30th Anniversary Ball. As well as being a great opportunity to thank all involved for their continued support, it was also a chance to reiterate just how important fundraising and donations are to ensure we can continue delivering the best possible care for those with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones. A special thanks to our patrons Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire, Professor Dame Hilary Chapman DBE and Dan Jarvis MBE MP, for helping make this event possible. To Wortley Hall for hosting us and our wonderful entertainment for the evening. Also, to the Mayor and Mayoress of Barnsley, Dickie Bird OBE and Frank Carter OBE for joining us along with our other fantastic guests. Finally to all those who so kindly donated prizes for our auction that helped raise even more funds on the night. From all of us here at Barnsley Hospice, thank you! 🧡

Giving thanks on this International Day of Charity 🌎 Today, we proudly recognise and thank the incredible charities we have the privilege of working with. We celebrate the organisations and individuals working tirelessly to make the world a better place. Your unwavering dedication to helping those in need is truly inspiring. Established by the United Nations, the International Day of Charity honours the legacy of Mother Teresa, who devoted her life to alleviating suffering and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979. This day serves as a reminder that each of us can make a difference - whether through donations, volunteering, or raising awareness. How can you help? 👏Donate to a charity - make a financial contribution to a charity of your choice. Even small donations can make a big impact on those in need. 👏Volunteer your time - offer your time to a local charity, volunteering is a great way to give back. 👏Support your local charity – help charities in your community by donating goods, fundraising, or volunteering your time. Thank you to those charities and volunteers for making a difference. #InternationalDayOfCharity #CharityDay #SupportCharity #GiveBack #Volunteer

Our second group of fantastic team members took on the Anfield abseil event to raise funds for Sense. With the weather on our side this time, they bravely descended 100 feet down the side of the stadium from the top of the main stand. Sense believes that everyone should be able to take part in life, no matter their disability. We're thrilled to be at 99% of our £4,500 fundraising goal and hope to exceed this! If you'd like to contribute to this wonderful cause and support our team of abseilers, please click here to donate: https://hubs.la/Q02JKVsm0 Huge congratulations to both teams who took part – you’re all incredible! 👏 #CharityChallenge #Teamwork #AbseilingForSense

Alright folks, buckle in because this is the toughest thing I've ever had to do. Now, don't get me wrong – I am not afraid of heights. I’ve leaped out of a plane for charity with nothing but a wire opening my parachute. But as a die-hard Manchester United fan, having to step foot – nay, dangle – outside Anfield Stadium, with the Scousers acting as my safety crew, fills me with a dread usually reserved for penalty shootouts. You see, last year at a posh dinner, Lord Levy pulled a fast one on me. In my most regal voice, I agreed that Sense would be our charity of the year, aiming to raise £10,000 for Sense. Little did I know this commitment would have me taking part in the 'Cybertill Anfield Abseil' in support of Sense. Yes, Sense – the wonderful charity that believes no one, regardless of their complex disabilities, should be left out or unable to fulfil their potential. Sense does amazing work supporting individuals with conditions like Neurofibromatosis, Autism, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy. Their dedicated team offers personalized support through centres, holidays, short breaks, and even in people’s homes. They're there for everyone who needs them, offering early intervention for children and supporting the journey into adulthood and beyond. So, as I prepare to go over the edge (literally and metaphorically), I humbly ask for your donations and support. Every penny helps, and your generosity will inspire me not to faint halfway down Anfield. Thank you for your support – no donation is too big or too small, unlike my fear of Liverpool’s stadium. Cheers!
