This week, LFC's SVP of Digital Drew Crisp spoke to hundreds of stadium and venue executives and sports business leaders at Coliseum Summit EUROPE about how the club is leveraging next-generation Wi-Fi and data analytics to enhance the matchday experience, alongside the club's official Wi-Fi solutions partner, Extreme Networks. 

This weekend's LFC Foundation legends match will be sponsored by the LFC Store app for the third year in a row. A percentage of proceeds from LFC Store app sales this weekend will go directly to support the LFC Foundation to continue their work in tackling social inequalities in its communities. Last season alone the Foundation supported over 127,000 individuals. This year's game will see Liverpool FC Legends face Chelsea FC Legends at Anfield this Saturday, March 22. Tickets are still available online here for the match, which kicks-off at 3pm GMT. A management team of Sir Kenny Dalglish and club greats will lead a star-studded collection of former Liverpool players, including Steven Gerrard, Sami Hyypia, Peter Crouch, Dirk Kuyt and more. Fans can also own a piece of club history, by bidding to win the shirts worn by their favourite returning legend. Shirts will also be signed by each player and all proceeds will raise even more funds for the LFC Foundation. Liverpool FC Women ambassador and former player Natasha Dowie will make history at Anfield this weekend when Liverpool FC Legends take on Chelsea FC Legends. Dowie, who was part of the Reds team that won back-to-back Women’s Super League titles in 2013 and 2014, will become the first woman to feature in the LFC Foundation's annual legends game, which will take place on Saturday and is presented by AXA, the club’s official training partner. Liverpool FC has announced Susan Black, the club’s Director of Communications, will be stepping down at the end of the season after 14 successful years in senior roles across the club, including as a Board Member and Executive Director of Liverpool FC Women and a Board Member of the Liverpool FC Foundation. Billy Hogan, LFC’s CEO, said: “On behalf of the entire club, I would like to express my gratitude for Susan’s years of dedication and leadership across our Communications, LFC Women, and LFC Foundation functions.   “She has played a pivotal role in all three areas alongside her role as one of the long-standing members of our Executive team, and we thank her for her expertise and commitment. She has played an instrumental role in shaping our success and will be missed. We wish her well for the future and she will always be welcome at Anfield.” Craig Evans, currently LFC’s VP Communications, will be promoted to the role of SVP Communications from 1 June 2025, assuming Susan’s communications responsibilities and leading the communications function. The LFC grounds team has been named Professional Football Grounds Team (elite) of the Year, at the 2025 Grounds Management Association Awards, for incredible turf management. This award is testament to the team's expertise, dedication and ability to deliver brilliance through grounds management, across five key club sites, including Anfield and St Helens Stadium, covering a total of 339,500 square meters.
