Week 1 Update – Dains Wellbeing Challenge 2024! 🎉 It’s been less than two weeks since the Dains Wellbeing Challenge kicked off, and what an amazing start we’ve had across the group! This initiative is all about coming together, focusing on both mental and physical health, and truly living out our value of working and succeeding together. We’re thrilled to see so many colleagues from across the group getting involved, including teams from Dains Accountants, McInerney Saunders, Condies, PSTAX, and S3TAX. A big congratulations to all 6 teams for a fantastic start! Here’s where we stand in the Race Across the World: 💫 Sky Blue (representing Cambridge and Opto offices) has taken an early lead with a solid performance. 💫 Marine (covering our Ayr, Glasgow, and Kilmarnock offices in Scotland) is currently holding second place. On the individual front, a huge well done to Debbie Strevens and Richard Strevens, who are neck and neck at the top, with only 0.5km separating them! Claire Bamford sits in third place, having submitted the most activities with an impressive 20 submissions in Week 1. Following closely behind are Stacy Potts, Katie Wong, and Hope Cookson, each logging 11 activities. In terms of group progress, we’ve collectively covered an impressive 2,233km so far! To put that into perspective, it’s the same distance as 186,083 double-decker buses or 8,301 Titanic ships. If we started from our Birmingham office, we’d now be in Cămărașu, Romania—a village steeped in history on the Transylvanian Plateau. We know that building a workplace where well-being is a priority is a journey, but through initiatives like this and the resources available across the group, we’re proud to be part of a company committed to making real progress. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this exciting journey 💪. #DainsWellbeingChallenge #MentalHealthMatters #EmployeeWellbeing #RaceAcrossTheWorld #WorkingTogether #CommitmentToWellbeing
