Here's why the #HubSpot vs. #Salesforce argument is total bullshit. No individual flavour of technology is going to solve your business problems. "Oh, you definitely need HubSpot" or "Nah, you have to get Salesforce" are statements parroted by people who are not focusing on the business problems at hand. They might even have a vested interest in you buying one or the other. And I should know, I used to be one of them! I'm probably the biggest HubSpot fan boy you're likely to meet, and I do love it. But it IS NOT the answer to what "you need". What businesses really need is a like-for-like, holistic system of measurement which helps them understand how you take a prospect on a journey from stranger to biggest advocate. The effectiveness of EVERY single piece of reporting, insight, marketing, forecast, pipeline or anything tied to generating revenue DEPENDS on having this system of measurement locked down. If you haven't got that, your HubSpot, Salesforce or whatever the hell you use to frustrate your sales team and confuse your board will not function for you or your business.
