Today, we're throwing it back to 2010, where we completed an extensive architectural metalwork project for the University of York. Working on Heslington East Campus at University of York, this development by BAM UK & Ireland saw the Dearneside team contibrute to the delivery of three new academic departments, a shared hub building and accommodation for 600 students at the university. We are delighted to share the official completion of #EburyBridge: Phase 1 by BOUYGUES UK. The Dearneside team have been involved in this development over the past few years, working hard to deliver our state-of-the-art architectural metalwork and stunning balcony balustrades. Having followed this project closely and shared its many updates online, we could not be more pleased with the end result. Now completed, Ebury Bridge Estate boasts 226 new homes, including 100 high-quality council homes, 16 returning leasehold homes, and 110 homes for market sale - the largest delivery of new council homes in South Westminster in 50 years! Job Description: Contact Manager We are a large-scale architectural metalwork supplier to the UK. We specialise in significant residential balcony packages and carry out over 70% of our work within the M25 area. Project values typically range from 100k to over £8m. The successful applicant must be fully experienced in architectural metalwork and secondary steelwork for the construction industry (5 years min ). Applicants must possess the following skills: Ability to efficiently and cost-effectively contract manage all aspects of multiple contracts to full completion within the required budget timeframe and budget. Build ongoing professional relationships with key customers. Must have CSCS and SMSTS Cards. Must have good IT skills – MS Word and Excel. Some good news to welcome us into the new year! We are thrilled to announce that we will be working on the upcoming Royal Tunbridge Wells project with McAleer & Rushe, delivering an extensive balcony and architectural metalwork package. A redevelopment of the former ABC cinema site in Kent, which has been derelict for over 20 years now, this project will see the delivery of 167 new later living homes, as well as 9 retail units. In addition, the site will be net zero carbon across both its development and operational lifespan. As our first contract with McAleer and Rushe, we cannot wait to begin. Almost 10 years ago, the Dearneside team worked on the stunning feature stairs for InterContinental London - The O2. Just as glamourous today, this 2015-completed project implemented an elevation of elegance for London's visitors. A 453-room hotel, Intercontinental wanted to create spaces for guests to enjoy the allure of global etiquette, timeless experiences, and the city’s local heritage. Right beside the famed O2 Arena and a short distance from North Greenwich, the hotel’s conference centre boasts a 3,100 sqm pillar-free ballroom - one of the largest in Europe - with an additional 19 meeting rooms, an organiser’s office and a 1,600 sqm pre-function space featuring dramatic views of Canary Wharf.
