Decathlon was founded in 1976 in Lille, France, with a mission to sustainably make sport accessible for the many. Before too long Decathlon UK opened its first store in Surrey Quays, London, in 1999, to help the British population get more physically active through sport. We have since developed into a full multi-channel shopping experience, including over 40 purpose-built stores across the nation. As a family-owned company, we create a unique range of expertly designed products across over 70 sports that offer unbeatable value for money. Our teammates are always on hand to share their passion and trusted expertise, giving you all the sports, advice, equipment and services, you need at the most affordable prices.   • This January, our teams are kicking off the New Year with RED January 💪 Red January is a nationwide community initiative aimed at boosting people’s mood and improving physical and mental wellbeing—whether through walking, dancing, stretching, running, or cycling during your commute—whatever suits you best! It’s an annual tradition for us to kickstart healthy habits at the beginning of the year, boost our team spirit, and support a fantastic cause aimed at enhancing mental well-being. We’ll participate by forming teams to track activities, logging every move throughout January, and cheering each other on to achieve greatness.
