And that's a wrap on the 2024 Not One More Vet Race Around the World! This May, Dechra was proud to sponsor and participate in Not One More Vet's annual fundraising event in support of their mission to transform the status of mental wellness in the veterinary profession. We had over 750 team members from 24 countries register for the race, making it a truly global event, and raised over $13,000 for NOMV as a result! Not only did race participation support a great cause, but we had fun and boosted our own physical and mental health as well. Team members participated in the race both individually and in groups by walking, biking, hiking, running, horseback riding, and more! Even though this year's Race Around the World may be over, Dechra looks forward to continuing our unique and impactful partnership with NOMV in many ways. #DechraTeam #RATW24 #NotOneMoreVet

Following the approval of our near-term science-based targets, the Target Validation Team has evaluated Dechra's scope 1, 2, and 3 long-term target ambition and determined that our long-term targets are aligned with the SBTi's 1.5°C mitigation pathways for reaching net-zero by 2050 or sooner. With this approval, Dechra commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 greenhouse (GHG) emissions 90% by latest 2050 from a 2021 base year. We also commit to reduce scope 3 GHG emissions 97% per GBP value added within the same timeframe. Today is World Environment Day, an occasion to inspire positive change for the environment. 🌳🌎🏞️ This year's theme focuses on land restoration, desertification, and drought resilience under the slogan “Our land. Our future. We are #GenerationRestoration.” Agriculture’s connections to the world economy, human societies, and biodiversity make it one of the most important frontiers for conservation. Sustainable management of agriculture preserves and restores critical habitats, protects watersheds, and improves soil health and water quality. Linked to this theme, Dechra's beyond the value chain project supports the AgCoTech facility in Laos which produces nutritional blocks for livestock. These blocks reduce methane production in the highest emitting regions, help improve the condition of livestock, and enable developing countries to better manage food security and regional prosperity. So far, 2,036 blocks have been distributed to 204 families in need! #Dechra #WorldEnvironmentDay #GenerationRestoration
