This follows some great work by Imon Kundu a few years ago, in which he developed the underlying photonic-integrated circuit, and we were awarded funding by the UK Space Agency to study its suitability for satellite-borne receivers. The ongoing work was supported through my UK Research and Innovation Future Leaders Fellowship in THz atmospheric and space instrumentation.
