Calling all ASMR enthusiasts in Hong Kong 🎧 We're pleased to share that our hugely popular exhibition WEIRD SENSATION FEELS GOOD: The World of ASMR has opened at AIRSIDE. This is the first city in Asia to host this immersive, multi-sensory exhibition, co-presented by ArkDes, the Swedish Centre for Architecture and Design, and the Design Museum. The exhibition features newly commissioned Hong Kong-themed ASMR works, and the local interpretations provide a unique perspective on this global cultural phenomenon. Catch it now until 13 July 2025.
【AIRSIDE Unveils Hong Kong’s First International ASMR Exhibition: A Unique Multi-Sensory Experience】 AIRSIDE redefines the mall experience with Hong Kong's first museum-quality ASMR exhibition, “WEIRD SENSATION FEELS GOOD: The World of ASMR”, now open at GATE33 Gallery. This milestone exhibition is presented in collaboration with ArkDes, Sweden and the Design Museum, London. Visitors can immerse themselves in the calming effects of ASMR through multi-sensory experience including close-looking, close-listening and close-feeling. We are honoured to have distinguished guests, including Mr. Chris Woodward, Director-General of Trade and Investment at the British Consulate-General in Hong Kong UK in Hong Kong, and Ms. Amelie Coyet from the Consulate General of Sweden in Hong Kong, joining us for this momentous occasion. Special thanks to james taylor-foster for curating this engaging exhibition and to Dagnija Smilga for the stunning design, including the iconic ASMR Arena, which serves as a centrepiece.
