Here it is! Our animation to get people talking about transport issues in their local community 🚘 🚲 🚶♂️ ♿ 🚌 . Technical transport speak can often be confusing and unclear - it certainly is to me - so demystifying it for the 'average Joe' in Leeds was something which was at the forefront of this project. The outcome is a 90-ish second video which shows real issues people face on the streets of Leeds! NEW WORK: b_line card campaign for Travel Derbyshire Young people are a priority audience for Travel Derbyshire when it comes to bus travel. However, whilst many young people need to use the bus for travel to school and college, there’s still a need to encourage them to use the bus more for leisure travel. By normalising bus travel for social activities at a young age, we aim to build positive experiences ahead of when young people might be thinking about learning to drive, establishing a habit of bus travel before they have more choice around how they get around. Working together with the local bus operators under the Travel Derbyshire partnership, an offer was developed for young people to travel in Derbyshire by bus for just £1.50 a journey with their b_line card, Derbyshire County Council's travel discount and library card for 11 to 18 year olds. Now they just needed a campaign to show young people the opportunities that it could open up for them to encourage them to apply. Our concept centred around: With a b_line card, there’s no need to miss out. We focused on the kinds of trips in Derbyshire that young people make, including moments with friends at gigs or restaurants, moments of calm in the Peaks or the chance to hit the gym or go for a swim. Our team developed creative that articulated these moments through sloganeering posters, animations for social media and ads for digital radio. You can see some of the brand new work here. We’ll be back with another post before Christmas to tell you how well the campaign has worked. NEW WORK: Move It Boom! Monster Hunt We first produced the award winning Move It Boom! (MiB) online activity tracker for Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust seven years ago to inspire primary-aged children to become more active and have fun. We are incredibly excited to launch MiB Monster Hunt (https://lnkd.in/eKkDrnwt) to inspire a new generation of kids to move more and help their school to win great prizes. Monster Hunt uses established gamification principles to reward users for their physical activity, making it a regular habit. These principles include the use of story and narrative to give users a reason to care about becoming more active, frequent feedback to provide the motivation to keep going, rewards for progress achieved and a visually exciting and interactive story world which encourages immersion and enjoyment. Plus all activities logged contribute to their school’s position on the regional leaderboard, giving the game a competitive element. In our Monster Hunt you’re the newest member of the Secret Monster Society on the trail of some of the most famous - but elusive - hidden creatures from around the world. You’ll need to climb snowy mountains, search steamy jungles and explore endless deserts to find them. Every activity you complete in the real world – from running around your garden to playing with your friends – moves you forward on our quest map, taking you further into the story and meeting a whole cast of weird and wonderful creatures. From the mysterious Mothman of North America to the giant Yeti of Tibet, each activity can uncover a new monster to collect. Move It Boom! Monster Hunt has got off to a fantastic start with nearly 6,000 students from over 300 registered schools taking part. So far they have logged over 33,000 activities. This year’s MiB finishes on the 15th of December which begs the question… how many kids will meet The Mothman, play with The Chupas and learn some tricks from the Kitsune? #marketingforgood #behaviourchange #socialimpact #physicalactivity
