RETAIN. SUSTAIN. THRIVE. At IDN, our message is clear: prioritising inclusion and diversity is key to retaining staff, building a sustainable workforce, and a better environment where everyone can thrive. A strong EDI strategy isn’t just good practice—it’s a win-win-win. Why is it important to focus on retention in your company? - Talent Loss: High turnover, particularly among non-white employees, leads to the loss of diverse, highly skilled staff, which can stifle innovation and growth. - Significant Financial Costs: Replacing an employee costs an average of £30,614. This includes expenses for advertising, onboarding, and training new hires. - Resource Drain: Frequent rehiring and retraining due to high turnover quickly escalate costs, draining company resources and hindering productivity. - Retention Prioritisation: By focusing on retention, you not only safeguard valuable talent but also save your company from ongoing expenses and operational disruptions. #Day30 #IDN #30DaysOfIDN
