Minister Murphy today visited Dog Ears creative studio based in Derry, to learn more about their impactful work in the local screen industry. Dog Ears known for its engaging animation content such as Emmy nominated Puffin Rock has established itself as a creative hub in the region. The Minister also had the opportunity to meet with trainees who have been placed with Dog Ears via Northern Ireland Screen’s skills development schemes which paves the way for future generations of creative professionals.

Wow, what a weekend, we're still coming down from the high not only from Kilkenny Animated but our big 25 Year Party. We'll be sharing more photos from the brilliant 'Evelyn McNamara Photography' over the next while but here are just a few to kick us off! Parties like these don't just happen on their own they're a huge collaborative effort!! Thanks to June & Colm and all the amazing staff at Hotel Kilkenny for the countless meetings and making sure everything ran smoothly in the lead up to and on the night. Thanks to Lamber de Bie for the beautiful display that greeted people as they arrived, Dynamic Graphics for printing and installing our party signage and decoration and to Bespoke & Co for framing and scanning some of our hand drawn 25 year artwork! To The Truffle Fairy for creating our bespoke Cartoon Saloon vegan chocolates for the party gift bags. The lighting and sound for the night complimented everything thanks to Sound to Light Finally, what is a Cartoon Saloon party without music? Jerry Fish and his whole crew got everyone on the dance floor, interacting and generally throwing caution to the wind! And to DJ Bootsy for keeping the party going into the early hours! A massive thank you to the studio crew who pulled all of the above together and to everyone who joined us on the night!!
