Last week we celebrated a very special milestone: Double Decker’s 15th anniversary, kicking off 2025 in style. From the studio’s very first exhibition at the Museu Oscar Niemeyer | MON in Brazil, Double Decker has grown over the years to deliver bigger and bigger projects – one of our latest achievements was an epic 4,300-artworks collection on board of Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Anne, which sailed last May. We couldn’t be more excited about the future: Double Decker is busy delivering signature collections for some of the best hotels in the world, with launches coming up in Greece, Morocco, Spain, Las Vegas, and, closer to ‘home’, in London’s Mayfair this year. Double Decker wouldn’t be here without the support of our industry colleagues and clients, collaborators, artists, and our team: thank you for the trust you put in us, and for being the bedrock of our creative work. 🙏 Here’s to another 15 years of feeling inspired every day! #artcuration #curationforhospitality #artcollections #designcuration #luxuryhospitality #anniversary #weare15

Season's Greetings! Each year, Double Decker partners with an up-and-coming artist to commission a bespoke illustration for our season’s greetings. This year, we are thrilled to collaborate with the talented textile designer Erin Chegwyn. Our directors first encountered her vibrant work at New Designers and were captivated by her unique approach to color, mark-making, and contemporary design. From all of us at Double Decker, we wish you a successful and inspiring 2025, filled with joy, creativity, and endless possibilities. May the power of art and imagination guide you throughout the year. Design by Erin Chegwyn Commission by Double Decker #newtalent #seasonsgreetings #artcuration

Thank you so much Mix Interiors's Chloé Petersen Snell for coming to see us at our Soho base. We have loved chatting all things art curation with you - such a wonderfully written article.
Soho has always been a bit different – long contrasting with polished neighbour Mayfair as home to a famed bohemian counterculture. It makes sense, then, that art consultancy Double Decker would make its base here, behind a graffitied door above a chic ramen restaurant in the heart of the district. Specialising in art curation for the hospitality sector, the colourful chaos of Soho is where inspiration starts for founders Melita Skamnaki and Wilhelm Finger. An academic background and respect for art history makes it easy for the duo to create collections that go beyond trends, crafting the unexpected for a category of luxury guests that have seen it all. Congratulations to the brilliant Cunard team and the ever inspiring Katie McAlister for being name British Luxury Brand of the Year at the Walpole British Luxury Awards. Double Decker worked closely with Cunard in the last 6 years, and is hugely proud to have curated the art collection - the largest art collection at sea! - for the company's latest ship, Queen Anne; working alongside the dream team - David Collins Studio, Richmond International, sybille de MARGERIE, led by Tihany Design.
We are so thrilled to announce that Cunard has been crowned Luxury Brand of the Year at the Walpole British Luxury Awards! Walpole is the official sector body for UK luxury businesses, representing over 250 British brands and supporting an industry worth £81 billion to the UK economy. This recognition highlights our success over the past 12 months, including the launch of our newest ship, Queen Anne, in May. Our President, Katie McAlister, said: “Being named ‘Luxury Brand of the Year’ means so much to all of us at Cunard.
