  • Hydrogen-ready collaboration with Buderus Deutschland at ISH Frankfurt Eddie and Jonathan are on the Buderus stand with Tobias, showcasing the Uni Condens 8000F, featuring our Dunphy dual-fuel hydrogen-ready burner. This collaboration highlights our ongoing commitment to delivering sustainable, energy-efficient solutions. Our solution can run on 100% hydrogen, natural gas, or any blend of the two - simultaneously or independently - including admix. Several of these systems have already been installed for customers aiming to enhance their green credentials 🌍🌍🌍

  • Factory Acceptance Test complete for these bespoke TL6 burners 🔥 The unique boiler set up, with a low centre line and a super heater on the front, required an inverted burner with a long projection. Now destined for a nuclear power station, the FAT ensured that these burners satisfy some of the most stringent safety, performance and regulatory standards.

  • 🏥 Delivering a fully off site manufactured, low NOx, energy efficient plant room for a UK Hospital We partnered with a UK Hospital to deliver a fully off-site manufactured plant room to support their laundry service. With the boiler house shell already built, the project had specific space constraints. Dunphy’s six-stage design-to-installation process provided a tailored solution. By sharing full-scale 3D models during the design phase, we worked closely with the customer to refine every detail before construction, ensuring complete visibility of the final product. The project was completed within 9 months, with transport, installation, and commissioning taking just 3 weeks. Read the full case study to see how we made it happen 👉

  • Lovely to see two Dunphy’s pictured providing the energy for this exciting trial! Our Dual gas burners enabled seamless switching between hydrogen and natural gas. A fantastic project with HyNet and Kellanova 🤝

Kellogg’s and HyNet power breakfast with hydrogen-fuelled manufacturing! We've partnered with Kellanova to produce Corn Flakes, Bran Flakes, Special K and Rice Krispies in a toasting oven powered by hydrogen. As Hydrogen Week UK begins, the HyNet Industrial Fuel Switching team have swapped from natural gas to hydrogen at a Kellogg’s factory making it the first food manufacturer in the country to produce cereal using this method. The three-week demonstration, funded by Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, showcases the role that hydrogen can play supporting industrial decarbonisation and how it forms an important part of the Kellanova’s commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, as part of its Better Days promise. • Catching up with the next generation in KL Our work in Malaysia goes back 43 years, to when Malcolm Dunphy first visited and built relationships that have stood the test of time Malcolm worked closely with Selva, alongside Eddie and Sharon, building a partnership that has enabled consistent work in the region. Yesterday Eddie and Sharon caught up with Selva’s son, Hema in Kuala Lumpur over a few beers - proof that the connections Malcolm started are still going strong. We love that these relationships have continued through generations, both professionally and personally. And of course, a glass was raised to Malcolm! 🍺

  • Over 600 years of apprentice-driven experience at Dunphy 😮💨😮💨 From Ste Ash as our first ever apprentice in 1974 through to our latest group this year, apprentices have always been at the heart of what we do. We are firm believers in investing in our people and that has translated to over 40% of our current workforce having been through an apprentice programme at some point. Stacked up this counts for over 600 years experience - a staggering stat and one that we’re proud of. At the end of National Apprenticeship Week we’re celebrating 51 years supporting apprenticeships at Dunphy and many more to come 🤝

  • A few months ago we introduced one of our newest apprentices, Charlie - now, as part of National Apprenticeship Week we’re speaking to his twin brother, Ben, who’s on a different career path through Dunphy. ⚡️ What is your apprenticeship?  Level 3 Electrical Fitting. 💡 Why did you decide to take an apprenticeship?  I completed my Level 2 in Electrical Installation, and college was encouraging apprenticeships. It was the best option at the time - plus, you get paid to learn! 🔌 What does a typical day look like for you? It really varies - I don’t have a typical day. Some days I’m continuing work from the previous day, and sometimes there are urgent jobs that need immediate attention which means no two days are the same. 💥 What’s the biggest challenge you’re facing? The college work. I have had to self-discipline and set aside 1-2 hours in the evening to stay on top of everything. But I have found a good balance between work, studying, and playing in my band, Atlas 🎸 🔧 What are some of the key skills you’ve picked up over the last 12 months? I couldn’t read electrical drawings when I started and now I can – it’s not difficult but it is a new skill I have gained whilst being on the job. I’ve also developed my knowledge on burners – I can now list components of the burners. These are skills that I use every day and I’m constantly developing so I know they’ll come in handy in the future. 🤝 What would be your advice for future apprentices Start working hard before your apprenticeship. Your grades can make a difference in the opportunities you get. 💬 What are three words you would use to describe your apprenticeship? Splendid. Interesting. Educational. #NationalApprenticeshipWeek

  • 💸💸💸 Upgrading 6 burners at a major food manufacturing plant to achieve 11% in cost savings Over eight years and three phases, we worked with a UK food manufacturer to modernise their boiler house and optimise fuel efficiency. As part of their sustainability drive, they installed an effluent treatment plant to generate biogas from spent ingredients, but lacked the right equipment to utilise it. Our six multi-fuel burners enabled them to run their three twin furnace boilers on any combination of biogas, natural gas, hydrogen, and gasoil - delivering over 11% in annual cost savings.
