Hailing from Ellers Farm Distillery in North Yorkshire, Dutch Barn Orchard Vodka® is brought to you by a team as committed to sustainability and ethical production as they are to top quality vodka. The name derives from the old Dutch barn that was located on our farm and has been preserved in the design of our distillery. Dutch Barn is carefully crafted using British apples balanced with a touch of potato spirit, plus water sourced from the ground for a crisp, clean and beautifully smooth vodka at 40% ABV. Our distillery – which is certified B Corp® – is in the process of growing 3 acres of apple trees to not only provide the fruit for our multi-award-winning vodka, but also to remove carbon from the atmosphere and create a biodiverse habitat that benefits pollinators, birds, mammals and visitors. It’s pretty hard work to distil apples, compared to grain or potatoes, but all the effort is worth it for a sip of our deliciously easy-drinking vodka. It shouldn’t sting your mouth. It needn’t be frozen to drink it. Using apples makes for an exceptionally smooth, crisp, clean taste. We even taste our new spirit every 20 minutes to guarantee it. Our brown bottle is sourced locally in Yorkshire and made from 60% recycled glass. It’s also scientifically proven to protect our vodka, ensuring it tastes as good as the day we bottled it. Our Master Distiller, Jamie Baggott, is one of the most awarded distillers in the world, winning double gold 'Best-in-the World Vodka' at the San Francisco Wine & Spirit Competition. Jamie’s methods and production processes are unique, and we produce our own spirit on the farm, working with trusted suppliers to ensure that Jamie has complete control over the production process from blossom to bottle. We are one of only 200 companies globally to commit to The Climate Pledge and are challenging ourselves to achieve net zero emissions by 2040, 10 years ahead of the Paris Agreement and the UK’s Climate Change Act.
