The new school term is underway - as are lots of great activities between employers and schools! Many thanks to the team at Bancon Group for providing Oldmachar Academy pupils with an insightful visit to the nearby Cloverhill development. Would you like to help young people understand the work of your organisation and industry sector? Drop us a note on info@dyw.org.uk. #futureworkforce
Today, we welcomed a group of enthusiastic pupils from Oldmachar Academy to our flagship Cloverhill development in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen. These young visitors, all considering careers in construction, enjoyed an immersive and informative experience with our team, gaining insights into the full journey of a successful new build development. From the extensive planning before breaking ground to the meticulous coordination required to manage a live site, they saw first-hand what it takes to bring a project to life. The students participated in a full site induction, learned about the entire house-building process, and toured the site to see their new knowledge in action. It was an inspiring day with our future young talent. With thanks to Iain Alexander & DYW North East.
