You’ll never guess the week I’ve just had! Last week was a summation of 6 years of consistent hard work. 18 year old me would have never imagined that I’d be on a global stage talking about a platform I have made that would transform the lives of thousands of young people across the world! (Econominds use a combination of gamification and AI to create personalised revision resources for students, boosting engagement and retention) I was pitching at #londontechweek for the TechNation rising stars competition. Unfortunately, I didn’t bring home the win- a huge shout out to Novai for their incredible innovation in the health tech space. Despite this, I felt like a winner in that room because: 🧠 I got to share my passion about creating an education space where all students can thrive with 1000s of people at the biggest tech event of the year. If I can change the perception of just 1 person about what it means to be neurodivergent and how to empower their own network, then that’s a job well done! 🧠 Connect with educators in the space! Collaboration>>> competition. I met with lots of people who have the same mission as me- transform 1 dimensional classrooms into agile spaces to empower the young leaders of tomorrow. Keep your eyes peeled for some major collaborations 👀 🧠 Get inspired! I met some incredible businesses that have challenged the way I think, and therefore, how I will run Econominds going forward. My team have also been exceptional with enabling me to deliver a fantastic pitch to the judges/ audience and to put on an incredible stand for the attendees. I can confirm the general public was not smarter than the average Econominds student 😂 More of a reason to grab your package!
