🚀 LAUNCHED A PODCAST! 🎙️ The past few months have been a whirlwind—from navigating packed parliamentary diaries to delivering briefings over tea in the Lords, recording in Westminster Hall, editing into the night during ramadan and even discussing the podcast in the main chamber at The Scottish Parliament. I’m beyond excited to introduce In Her Parliament, a podcast created for women and young girls at all stages of their political journey—or anyone curious about British politics through the lens of female Parliamentarians. 🎧 The first three episodes are now live on Spotify and Apple Podcast! with Baroness Owen, Preet Kaur Gill and Sonia Kumar MP. https://lnkd.in/ecDEuA82 This has been a true labour of love, with so much work behind the scenes. I’m incredibly grateful for the support and kind messages from those in Westminster —from Parliamentary Assistants wanting to get their MP interviewed, 50:50 Parliament Elect Her CIC sharing the podcast on their instagram, bumping into old colleagues who have listened, to those overseas working in similar spheres! A special shout-out to the amazing team at Commonwealth Parliamentary Association UK (CPA UK)— Josephine and Helen who made this possible. If you're passionate about making politics more accessible—especially encouraging more women into this space—I’d love for you to listen, follow and share with a woman you know. 💜 Do also reach out if you know a Parliamentarian who would be great to get onto In Her Parliament 👀
