CEO & Founder at Ellyfe - Innovating Care for Older Adults Through Hydration Monitoring | Flare Ignite 2023 Winner | Currently Raising Funds
Thrilled to announce that we have won the Care Innovation Challenge 2024 organised by National Care Forum! 🎉. This challenge is truly one of the best platforms for learning and growth. Over the course of the two days of finals which happened at Care Show Birmingham, we proudly tested hydration levels on more than 60 people, sharing immediate results and receiving significant interest from care homes, domiciliary care providers, and carers. We’re excited about the potential collaborations and the positive impact we can bring together. A huge thank you to the entire National Care Forum team for hosting such a fantastic event, and a special shout-out to Vic Rayner OBE and Helen Glasspool for giving us the opportunity to participate. Your unwavering support and belief in us made this possible. We are committed to upholding your trust and making you proud. Care Innovation Challenge has been one of the best events I've ever attended, with some of the most knowledgeable mentors in the sector. We are deeply grateful to all our mentors who have supported us along the way—Elizabeth Beh, Sean Davey, Alex Nash, Liam Palmer, Ala Szczepura—your guidance has been invaluable. And a very special thanks to Paula Sardinha, who mentored us during our first year at the Care Innovation Challenge, helping us lay the foundation for where we are today. A big thank you to Zeke Steer, who mentored us during last year's Care Innovation Challenge and has continued to guide us ever since. We’d also like to extend our gratitude to all the amazing teams —we learned so much from each of you and were truly inspired by your innovations. It was an honor to share this experience with such talented and dedicated individuals. A special thanks to Anna Lewkowicz from team Eva for connecting us with the wonderful team at The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT), where we had the privilege of testing our device. Your support has been instrumental in helping us move forward! Special thanks to Shimul Haque from the Enterprise Team at the University of Hertfordshire Business Zone for informing us about the competition in 2022. Since then, we've participated in the challenge every year and continue to benefit greatly from it. I would also like to express my gratitude to our co-founder, Hemanth Kumar Talupula, for his unwavering support and dedication during the challenge. His efforts have been crucial to our success and growth. We look forward to continuing this journey and collaborating with those who share our vision for better care! 💙 Tim Robinson Anna Lewkowicz Kirsty Youngs Anna O'Gara GG Care Paul Tomlinson Melissa Rumbold #CareInnovationChallenge #CareShow2024 #Collaboration #InnovationInCare #Teamwork #CareTech #Hydration #HealthyAging
