Early stage edtech / future of work investor

LEGENDARY week in Copenhagen for TechBBQ and our fourth edtech / future of work meetup where we gathered 70 founders and investors passionate about disrupting the space. Highlights: 💡 Wizdom's insights on how to cultivate a high performing team: i) Don't compromise on competencies when hiring, poor cultural fit will impact the whole organisation; ii) Burnt out teams underperform - proper R&R is crucial to high performance.  🕰 Helene's founder story from Tiimo and the trade off between speed to market and taking the time to get the product right, especially when you are building truly impactful products for users. It takes patience! 😅 The second Emerge run club - ANOTHER ZERO TURNOUT. Third time lucky? (Puresport how did you do it?!!) Thanks to everyone who came along, Wizdom, Helene and Rasmus for your AMAZING insights, and our friends Michael and Dominika for being fantastic co-hosts.

🔥 Founders, how much time should you really spend on strategy when you're constantly putting out fires? According to Smita Bakshi, co-founder of zyBooks: A Wiley Brand, strategy isn't just important—it's critical to reducing those fires in the first place. 💡 She breaks it down into two essential phases: 1️⃣ Before Product-Market Fit: Identify the undeniable need, know why you are best suited to solve it, and look for key inflection points to leverage. 2️⃣ After Product-Market Fit: Focus on delighting your users and expanding your user base. Stick to your strategy, even when tempting opportunities arise outside your core focus. 👀 Watch the full episode on our YouTube channel (Emerge PMF Academy) for more insights on early-stage startup strategy.
