Across the UK, organisations celebrated national Playday 2024, with the theme of Play – the culture of childhood. During years of our social return work, we’ve invested a portion of our profits into many community projects that support children’s development, enjoyment and play. From farm trips and forest school programmes, to helping get inspiring books into primary schools. Play supports our development, even as an adult, helping to keep us curious, engaged and creative within our richly multicultural environments. Let’s support all of our play today, particularly fostering a culture of supporting play for all children. www.playday.org.uk/ #Playday2024 #PlayAndCulture

World Breastfeeding Week is organised by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA), a global network of individuals and organisations dedicated to the protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding worldwide. WBW is about raising the profile of breastfeeding as an equaliser to society and how no one should be left behind when it comes to accessing breastfeeding support, especially vulnerable mothers who are typically subject to breastfeeding inequalities. Enable2 exist to close the gap on language inequalities, particularly when it comes to accessing health support. It’s important to mark this important week of awareness in what is a fundamental aspect of both early years and maternal health and wellbeing. https://lnkd.in/dXpdxvF #WBW2024 #ClosingTheGap #nhs #nhsinterpretingservice
