This will be a hybrid meeting with Teams access for those who cannot make it in person. However, we would encourage in person attendance if possible. Coming home from SXSW after presenting Energy House Labs work in the US. Big thanks to Jennifer Castenson for pulling together a great session on housing and climate change resilience. Would you like to be part of a Research Study? Our friends over in the Acoustics Lab are undertaking a study to investigate the perception of the sounds emitted by Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs). In the experiment, they will measure your responses to the sounds made by ASHPs under different conditions. They are looking for participants to join them in the Acoustics Lab on Peel Park Campus at the University for a listening session that will take around 60 minutes and you will receive £16 for your time.   This Spring Castlefield Gallery will launch an ambitious exhibition of new work by artists Mishka Henner and Emily Speed, in partnership with the University of Salford Art Collection and Energy House Labs.   The exhibition will be the culmination of 18-month Artist Residencies with Energy House 2.0 at the The University of Salford, a period in which the artists have immersed themselves in this world-leading energy performance facility, its cutting-edge research, and the facilities and research of the wider university.
