Revisiting last week Last week was another busy week. I visited Berlin Swifts Swiftettes FC, supporting them in setting up their own wellbeing team. I am also working with two men's groups in Bangor. I facilitated a mens mental health group in Bangor and took the other group to the Boyne centre as part of an education trip. Grateful for the opportunities that are presented to me and being able to make a difference to people's lives.

Recent events I have been quiet on here for a while due to A family holiday and family circumstances, however it doesn't mean I haven't been busy. Last week I delivered two sessions to Bangor FC Academy players and this week I delivered two sessions to Bangor FC coaches as part of the IFA Foundation's Ahead of the Game programme, feedback was positive and it gave the players and coaches tips to bring into sessions. One quote from a coach was "They should be teaching you this on UEFA coaching courses". Today I spent some quality time with Robert Davidson Tom Magee Joe Donnelly Kyle Robinson and the Mental Health Champions taking in Chasing the Stigma Ambassador of Hope plus training. Thoroughly enjoyable with particular takeaways on the scenarios used and the learning from them. Finally a great professional development opportunity was recently to facilitate two Mens Mental Health groups in the Bangor Area which fantastic plans for the programme. #positivemindset #goals #wellbeing #future

Carniny Youth Ahead of the Game Last night saw us travel to Ballymena Bowling Club to deliver the AOTG workshop to coaches and volunteers from Carniny Youth. It was a thoroughly enjoyable night and a lot to take away from the session. Grest commitment from the club with 18 volunteers participating. Takeaways from the night were the importance of support networks for coaches and finding balance. I reflected on balance during my journey home and it made me consider how important balance is in all aspects of our lives. Kyle Robinson Joe Donnelly Robert Davidson Tom Magee

Ashfield NISC Ahead of the Game I took the journey to Quilly Hall, Dromore to visit Ashfield NISC and it's members. I was joined by Gary McAllister from the Amalgamation and Robert Davidson from the IFA. Out of all the workshops I have delivered this was probably one of the most enjoyable. A group of men being open, honest and authentic about their wellbeing. Some real powerful stories shared in a safe environment. I cannot wait until the next one. Thank you to everyone at the club for their hospitality. Kyle Robinson Joe Donnelly Robert Davidson

West Ham player Michail Antonio talks about how therapy helped him understand himself better and gave him increased awareness. Therapy helped him fall in love with the game that he didn't enjoy anymore. This is a very interesting podcast to listen to. https://lnkd.in/ey2eTJe2

A very productive few days completing this excellent course on Understanding Autism, Aspergers and ADHD. This will be very helping in my counselling studies and help with the organisations we support. I would encourage anyone who works in this area or requires more information and knowledge on the above conditions to certainly partake in this free course. #neurodiversity #autismawareness #aspergersawareness #adhdawareness

Throughly enjoyed delivering this on Wednesday night. 32 representatives from all strands of the club took part and I was mesmerised by some of the ideas coming from the room. The one I took away was visualisations and all I could think of was Dr Andrew Huberman and Dr Joe Dispenza and the quote "What fires together, wires together". Thank you to everyone at Comber Rec for inviting me along and to Alan Robinson for the support.
